The hard part is the boring part
Setting a location is one Apple developer-protocol call. Doing it without root, without a jailbreak, and without asking for your password — a userspace USB tunnel speaking the device protocols in-process — is the part that took the engineering. Wisp ships as a notarized, signed app: download, open, done.

Static points with saved bookmarks. Routes snapped to real roads, walked at a configurable human pace with GPS-style jitter and cooldowns. A joystick (and WASD) for free walking. GPX import for repeatable test runs. History, so you can get back to anywhere you've been.
